Culture of Contact Episode 14: RED MOON
| Played: 1068 | Download | Duration: 01:02:56
Jeremy chats with David S. Michaels and Daniel Brenton, the authors of RED MOON, a fantastic sci fi "What if?" about the Russians getting a man on the moon first in secret. It's that and so much more--and so is this show--covering a whirlwind of subjects from the space race to ufology and everything in between. There's more than meets the eye to David S. Michaels & Daniel Brenton. It's reflected in their work and in this show!

Another great show Jeremy. Was good to hear something different
I think that there is probably a lot of truth among the Red Moon storyline and to find that Russia had made it to the moon would come as no surprise to many. There is also definitely a lot about the current state of space exploration that we are kept from knowing im sure.

It's good to know Dave and I were something different. (??)
Don't know if you caught this, but in my article "The Darkest Secret of the Moon Race" ...
http://www.danielbrenton.com/2007/10/18/the-darkest-secret-of-the-moon-race/
... I noted there is still a question as to whether the second (and catastrophic) test of the Soviet N-1 (their Saturn-V class booster) had a manned payload or not. There are enough gaps in the historical record that suggests something is being hidden there, though there's no smoking gun obvious. Yet.
As for what the current space program is hiding, well, let me conjecture here. The US Space Program is always scraping for budget. Add to that there are something over a trillion dollars of unaccounted defense money, so maybe the answer is that the real space program has nothing to do with the "public" one.
Ya know whut I mean, Vern?
